love the bag
love this bag, wish it had a few more zipper pockets, only has one, and 3-4 pen holders and then one, larger open pouch, but i have my macbook pro, nook tablet, nintendo ds, 5games, zune hd, hand sanitizer, plethora of power cords, medications, etc in it and 1-2 magazines and still have plenty of room, also the length of the strap is fairly long, which is nice, easier to shorten then make longer. the shoulder pad is really soft and comfortable too.

Great bag
This is a good quality bag, very durable. The last Dakine bag I had lasted for ten years (through college). The only things that I'd change about this model is that it needs another small pocket inside or on the top flap and I kind of miss the waist strap that the older model had to keep your bag from slipping around while riding your bike.
Nice looking bag, but not practical.
I purchased this bag to replace my messenger bag that I use for work every day. In my old bag I carried everything from a legal pad portfolio to my work keys, and everything in between. I purchased this bag and was impressed by the looks of it, but realized that it was very impractical. I was immediately disappointed my the lack of storage. I could only fit a quarter of the things I needed the bag to carry. The laptop carrying compartment is nice but the main big pocket is awkward. Placing items in that pocket inevitably make there way under the laptop carrying pouch. Nothing stays in place. Very inconvenient if you carry smaller items. I tried using this bag for half a work day before I packaged it up and shipped it back. If you are dependent on your bag for everything do not get this bag. Learn from my mistake. Do your research.
